I like the Amazon affiliate program, but how much you get paid depends on a few things. First of all, they do have one of the lowest commission rates out there, which turns off some people. But if you promote high-ticket items, then even a small percentage of a big sale could mean a lot for you. It just depends on how you look at it. :)

Alexis, it takes time to make money with any affiliate network. It doesn't matter if you are selling digital products or physical products...the basics of keyword research and search engine optimization are important to everyone.

If you want to promote physical products then here are some tips: first, do keyword research and make sure your product/niche keywords get searches regularly. Then make multiple small niche sites, or make one "large" authority site. There are tons of keywords to target. Also, try to pick something with decent commissions. Amazon has a very low commission rate, so if you target cheap items you won't be making very much. I will try to make a post soon with some tips on using Amazon and CJ for selling physical products. In the meantime, keep at it and good luck!
