What Are Some Good Affiliate Networks?

If you’ve been marketing for a while, you probably already know at least one affiliate network and are probably making money from it.  But if you are new to affiliate marketing, I will share some of the better affiliate networks I’ve worked with (for digital products, physical products, and CPA offers).

Digital Products

  • Clickbank- This is the biggie.  If you want to promote ebooks or software programs, Clickbank has high commission rates and it is very easy to promote products.  Almost everyone uses Clickbank.  You get paid every two weeks…me likey.
  • PayDotCom- This is another place to find digital products, and is similar to Clickbank.  You get paid directly through Paypal, which is nice.  This network was created by Mike Filsaime who is a famous marketer, so you have to wade through some unwanted offers, but this is a good network too.

Physical Products

  • Amazon- Amazon has almost everything you can imagine, which makes it easy to find products to promote.  Their affiliate program and linking structure are easy and they help their affiliates.  They convert well and I love using Amazon…the only downside is that you get measly 4% commissions.
  • Commission Junction- An affiliate network that works with most large retailers.  Wal-mart, Best Buy, and many stores work with CJ, so you can promote almost anything here too.  You have to register for each different vendor, but commission rates tend to be a bit higher than at Amazon.  I use it regularly, but personally find their linking structure and analytics to be a pain in the butt.

CPA Offers

  • Convert2Media- This was the first CPA site I joined.  With CPA, you do need to have a phone call and be approved by a person individually.  There are many different offers and they keep you updated on what is converting the best.
  • Neverblue- This is one of the biggest CPA sites.  They have offers with several well known companies so the offers convert well.  Support is nice, and this is a very popular choice for CPA.

Of course, there are tons of affiliate networks out there.  There are several popular choices that I haven’t tried yet, and I’m sure there are even more networks that I haven’t even heard of.  These are just the networks that I know and trust.  Feel free to share any other networks.

Alexis, it takes time to make money with any affiliate network. It doesn’t matter if you are selling digital products or physical products…the basics of keyword research and search engine optimization are important to everyone.

If you want to promote physical products then here are some tips: first, do keyword research and make sure your product/niche keywords get searches regularly. Then make multiple small niche sites, or make one “large” authority site. There are tons of keywords to target. Also, try to pick something with decent commissions. Amazon has a very low commission rate, so if you target cheap items you won’t be making very much. I will try to make a post soon with some tips on using Amazon and CJ for selling physical products. In the meantime, keep at it and good luck!

Amazon Affiliate program pays much better than other affiliate programs out there.:`”

I like the Amazon affiliate program, but how much you get paid depends on a few things. First of all, they do have one of the lowest commission rates out there, which turns off some people. But if you promote high-ticket items, then even a small percentage of a big sale could mean a lot for you. It just depends on how you look at it. :)
